Welcome to Fabrice, Iwan, Xinxin and Ulrich!
We warmly welcome Fabrice Bagnoud, Iwan Hächler, Xinxin Guo and Ulrich Kuhl. Fabrice and Iwan from LTNT now continue their R&D adventure at CAPS, while Xinxin starts as Postdoctoral Researcher and Ulrich joins us as Visiting Professor.
Fabrice and Iwan investigate a transparent, near-infrared absorbing metamaterial and how this can be commercialized, in the frame of their ETH Pioneer Fellowship. Their fascinating project was initiated at the ETH Laboratory of Thermodynamics in Emerging Technologies of Prof. Dimos Poulikakos.
Ulrich and Xinxin will work with Nicolas on PT symmetric systems, nonlinear circulators, and on acoustic realizations of these metamaterials.
