6 papers published in the 40th volume of the Proceedings of the Combustion Institute

Bayu, Guoqing, Kihun, Matteo and Quentin presented our papers on combustion dynamics of hydrogen flames and plasma-assisted control of thermoacoustic instabilities at the 40th International Symposium on Combustion in Milan.

by Justus Florian Radack

Bayu presented the paper entitled “external page Plasma assisted thermoacoustic stabilization of a transiently operated sequential combustor at high pressure” co-authored with Sergey and Nicolas (top-left image).

Guoqing presented the paper entitled “external page Flame Transfer Function Analysis of Hydrogen Diffusion Swirl Flames” co-authored with Abel, Bruno and Nicolas (top-middle image).

Kihun presented the paper entitled “external page Transfer functions of lean fully- and technically-premixed jet-stabilized turbulent hydrogen flames” co-authored with Richard, Bruno and Nicolas (top-right image).

Matteo presented the paper entitled “external page Acoustic scattering of a sequential combustor controlled with non-equilibrium plasma: A numerical study” co-authored with Quentin and Nicolas (bottom-left image).

Quentin presented the papers entitled “external page The LEAF concept operated with hydrogen: Flame topology and NOx formation” and “external page Stabilization of a thermoacoustically unstable sequential combustor using non-equilibrium plasma: Large eddy simulation and experiments” respectively co-authored with Khushboo and Nicolas, and with Sergey, Matteo and Nicolas (bottom-middle and bottom-right images).

Galia also presented a work-in-progress poster on the coupling between a flow and nanosecond repetitively pulsed discharges.
