Dr. Bayu Adi Dharmaputra

Bayu completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Twente in The Netherlands and his master’s degree at ETH in Energy Science and Technology. His research at CAPS focuses on active control of autoignition flames using plasma. His project is part of TORCH project which is granted by the European Research Council (ERC). The main goal of the project is to control the thermoacoustic instabilities in a sequential combustor at different operating conditions. His work covers experimental, theoretical and numerical studies such as plasma spectroscopy study, CFD simulation, controller design, low order network modeling, and hardware implementation.
